Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions of Sale, including the use of this website and /or any purchases made by you from Crime Solvers Ltd shall be concluded in English and shall be governed by English law and the parties hereto submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Accuracy of Information
The information published herein and within this website has been validated as far as possible and all reasonable care has been taken to ensure that all product details, descriptions and prices are offered without any liability whatsoever and we do not warrant that all the product descriptions on this site is complete, accurate, current or error free.

Data Protection
Crime Solvers Ltd is committed to protecting the privacy of its clients. Information collected about you will be done lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Information about you is only collected to allow us to process your order and to keep you informed about any products and services we may offer. Your personal information will not be sold or otherwise supplied to third parties.

In the event that Crime Solvers Ltd were required to cancel an event, a full refund will be made of any monies paid.

Parties attended by children
The party host is responsible for ensuring that a permission slip is completed by the parent / guardian of each child participant attending a Crime Solvers Ltd event. This will be supplied by Crime Solvers Ltd on receipt of payment for a booking. By returning the reply slip and allowing their child to attend the party, parents/guardians are consenting to the following conditions:

The party may include the following activities, by signing the consent form (on the reply slip of the invitation) the parent /guardian is giving permission for their child to take part any of the following:

Participation in a variety of age appropriate observation and reasoning tests involving puzzles and video clips

Participation in a simulated briefing process based on authentic police procedures prior to commencing the investigation of the simulated crime scene

Participating in the investigation of a simulated crime scene which may include a mannequin or skeleton and a variety of everyday articles forming evidence used to provide clues to solve a fictitious crime using techniques based on authentic police procedures. The simulated investigation may involve the taking of photographs of the simulated crime scene by the participants. Crime Solvers Ltd will not take any photographs of those participants unless specifically contracted to do so by the host of the event and only with the written consent of the parent/guardian of those participants. Any photographs will be printed at the venue and provided to the host for distribution to participants. Any record of photographs will be deleted from any device used to take photographic images and any storage device or similar used in the printing of photographs.

Participating in the taking of their fingerprints using elimination ink pads or ink strips. Any fingerprints will be retained by the child and taken away from the event.

Searching for latent fingerprints by means of dusting surfaces with aluminium powder and brushes.

Other crime investigation procedures of an age appropriate nature including participation in appropriate forensic science tests on ‘evidence’ collected during the crime scene examination

Participants may have to search for clues within the simulated crime scene and the environment chosen by those hosting the event. Crime Solvers Ltd will supply appropriate disposable forensic investigation suits and face masks as part of the event as part of the simulated investigative process. Protective glasses will be provided when appropriate during the simulated investigative process. It is recommended that a child participant wears comfortable clothes (trousers or tracksuit). It should be noted that Crime Solvers Ltd accepts no responsibility for any soiling or damage that may occur to clothing as a consequence of participation in an event. All reasonable steps will be taken to ensure that any such soiling or damage to clothing is avoided. Crime Solvers Ltd seeks only to use products that are washable and which should not permanently mark or stain clothing. It is however possible that delicate fabrics might be stained in the event of coming into contact with some products.

During the course of a simulated investigation participants may come into contact with various substances such as fingerprint ink, fingerprint powder and theatrical blood. If your child is likely to be allergic to any substances it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure sure the party organiser is made fully aware of this.

The parent/guardian/care giver of a child participant is responsible at all times for the general supervision of children within the event venue. Whether at home or at any other premises, the event organiser is responsible for the supervision of exits, and for ensuring that children only leave the party venue with their own parent or guardian. The responsibility of Crime Solvers Ltd is strictly limited to the supervision of party activities provided by us.

Payment for an event is required in full when making a booking. Payments are non-refundable in the event of cancellation. Event dates and times are then fixed. Should circumstances change, Crime Solvers Ltd will endeavour to do our best accommodate your amendments. No guarantee can be given that requests for changes to the time or date of an event will be met.

Crime Solvers Ltd will contact you 5 days before the event to confirm our attendance and the numbers of participants. Unless so informed by you we will assume that the final number of participants is that stated on the initial booking form.

On receipt of payment, Crime Solvers Ltd will confirm all relevant details, including the name and contact number/email of the host.

In the unlikely event that Crime Solvers Ltd was to cancel the event, a full refund will be given of all monies paid.

All members of staff engaged by Crime Solvers Ltd will have been the subject of an enhanced DBS clearance.

Crime Solvers Ltd is covered by Public Liability insurance

Educational workshops and schools based events
The teacher or school appointed supervisor is responsible at all times for the general supervision of children within the school during the Crime Solvers Ltd workshops. The responsibility of Crime Solvers Ltd is strictly limited to the supervision of workshop activities provided by company.

Participants may have to search for clues within the simulated crime scene and the environment chosen by those hosting the event. Crime Solvers Ltd will supply appropriate disposable forensic investigation suits and face masks as part of the event as part of the simulated investigative process. While conducting the simulated crime scene investigations participants may come into contact with various substances such as fingerprint ink, aluminium powder and theatrical blood. If any participant is likely to be allergic to any of the substances it is the responsibility of the event organiser to ensure that the workshop presenter is aware of this.

Workshop dates and times are fixed when the booking form is returned. Full payment is required at the time of making a booking, an invoice will be sent with the booking form.

Payments are non-refundable however Crime Solvers Ltd will endeavour to accommodate date and time changes where possible.

Crime Solvers Ltd will contact you 7 days before the workshop to confirm our attendance and the numbers of participants expected. Unless informed to the contrary, Crime Solvers Ltd will assume that the numbers of participants will be that provided on booking the event.

In the unlikely event that Crime Solvers Ltd were to cancel the event, a full refund will be given of all monies paid.

All staff engaged or employed by Crime Solvers Ltd will have been the subject of an enhanced DBS clearance.
