The Teams of Trainee Investigators will get the opportunity to observe and note aspects of the crime scene before marking and numbering individual items of evidence, sketching and photographing the scene.
Once the scene has been recorded the Teams will recover the items of evidence they have identified. Points will be awarded for each piece of evidence recovered and additional points earned for identifying how evidence can be used to solve the crime.
Search for fingerprints and to lift any marks that they identify using actual techniques deployed by real life CSI’s.
Identify other elements of trace evidence, such as fibres and footwear impressions and recover evidence using actual CSI techniques and processes.
Following the conclusion of the examination of the crime scene the teams will be requested to record the evidence recovered on the Crime Scene Log. Each team’s efforts will be examined by the Senior Investigator for further development and to identify potential leads and suspects.
*Depending on the size of the venue and the numbers attending each Crime Solvers event can incorporate more than one crime scene so that a number of teams can participate simultaneously. Please consult us about your exact requirements when booking your event.
