At the start of your Crime Solvers event our Senior Investigator will register the attendees and provide each Trainee Investigator (TI) with a pack. The pack will comprise a clipboard and a number of documents on which each TI can record their activities as the investigation progresses.
In addition each TI will receive their CSI protective suit, mask, overshoes and Crime Solvers pen which they can retain after the event.
Protective glasses, magnifier and forceps will also be provided to be returned at the conclusion of the investigation.
Our Senior Investigator will take the TI’s through a variety of observation and reasoning tests via a number of media including online video feeds.
The inductees will get instruction on a variety of crime scene investigation techniques such as how to record and examine a crime scene, identifying and lifting fingerprints from surfaces and the taking if fingerprints.
The TI’s will be placed into teams and a briefing will be provided on the crime scene.
Once briefed, the Trainee Investigators will be deployed to the crime scene and the Senior Investigator will supervise them as they conduct an in depth investigation.
Points will be earned for the types of evidence recovered
